Mark spent more than 20 years at the Central Intelligence Agency before bringing his crisis management expertise to the private sector at Starbucks and now Concentric.

Mark's career has been defined by making high-stakes decisions under pressure, first in intelligence operations with national security implications, then in corporate resilience roles protecting global enterprises. In Mark's words, "Resiliency, leadership, and crisis management are vital to healthy organizations and leaders are recognizing this. During his time at the CIA, Mark navigated revolutions, civil disruptions, personnel evacuations, and crises of multiple types. He directed and conducted intelligence operations where decisions carried profound implications. After retiring in 2019, he brought that experience to Starbucks, leading business resilience, intelligence, and executive protection for one of the world's most recognized brands. Today, he works with Concentric, advising organizations on protective intelligence and risk management.

"Mark has been in the room when decisions matter most," said Qinsay leadership. "His guidance will help us build something that does not just simulate crises, it prepares teams to handle them with the same professionalism he demonstrated throughout his career. We particularly appreciate Mark's unique storytelling and empathetic approach. Mark helps translate the hypothetical to the practical, always emphasizing the human element in challenging situations. Every story has a lesson, and Mark brings that to practice in resiliency and leadership. We are grateful to have his perspective as we continue to build Qinsay."
